The weekend draws oh so near and a little girl sits all huddled up on her bed. Feeling the isolation from her own solitude, she stares blankly at the four whitewashed walls she is confined in and has come to call it home. She lets off a heavy sigh and closes her eyes. Her mind wanders through her thoughts, weaving in and out of reality and fantasy.
She rolls on her back and opens her eyes. She gasps for in front of her she sees a golden door. Tempted, she holds back; fighting the urge to lay hands on the beautifully chiselled silver doorknob afraid of what's behind the object it is bound to.
She closes her eyes again thinking it will go away once she opens them again. But nay, the door stays steadfast, unwilling to vanish. She hears voices, some she recognizes, some she wonders who but all calling out her name.
She looks at the door again and reaches out her delicate hand to it. She touches the doorknob and it opens by itself.
Like a vacuum, she immediately gets swept in. Such a force blowing at her, she fears the worst for her. Her body could not stand the pressure. She sheds a tear from the pain while twisting and twirling seemingly in the air. Will she die from the utter force on her body? Where will she end up? What is happening?
She breathes silent prayers all thorugout the ordeal when finally she opens her eyes. She gives a small gasp as she drinks in the scenery. Oh the sheer beauty of the flowers, the lushness of the grass, the majesty of the trees, the crystalline skies and the purity of the river flowing not far from where she sat.
Bells ringing from a distance, it sooths her, she sways along with its melody as if in a trance. she closes her eyes and starts drifting off to sleep. she suddenly opens her eyes. listening closely in case she mistakes what she hears. she strains hearing, yes it is. someone is singing to the bells! such magnificent voice! strong yet melodic and controlled... could it be? it sounds like a young male. she stands up to investigate...
to be continued (:
Did you know? According to indigenous tradition, the recipient of a friendship bracelet must wear it until the threads wear out or fall off naturally? The giver of this gift pays for the hard work and love that took to make it, while the recipient of the bracelet repays the friend by honoring the gift which signifies an everlasting friendship ♡

the love story...
the weekend draws near and a girl sits alone on her bed. She stares at the whitewashed walls in her tiny bedroom and daydreams... sometimes she smiles uncontrollably, sometimes she sheds a tear, sometimes she sighs, sometimes she gets angry. amongst all of the daydreams she has fabricated or not, she cherishes one the most.
she closes her eyes and begins the sweet memory of her and this prince, amazing as he can be, walking through enchanted gardens brimming with romance and grace, sometimes in the heat of the day or the cool of the night. Magic springing everywhere.
light's alighting as they walk past bushes or trees that night, the soft drizzling of the rain kissing their skin and hair as they walk hand in hand. the ambiance accompanied by the breath taking scores of the violinists about.
they find a tree that looks oh so familiar. the green of the leaves all dressed with sparkling ornaments, the trunk of it covered with streamers. they walk over to it and to their surprise they remembered... "This was the tree i first touched those lovely lips with mine..." the prince said. The girl, speechless could only look up to this man she loves and adore. he holds her close to him in such a tender-loving yet strong embrace. she lies her head on his chest and hears the soft thumping of his heart. he bends his head to kiss hers and she looks up with such glee in her eyes. transfixed by the moment, all they could do was to gaze into each others eyes. the girl, feeling the heat of the stare looks away suddenly, face crimson in colour. the young prince gives off a lovely laugh and tilts his head back. he lifts up her head by the chin and looks deep into her eyes, "I love you" he whispers.
deep in her mind she prays to God, thanking Him for blessing her with such a man as he. she finally utters to him in between tears, "My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep. The more I give thee, the more I have, For both are infinite. If I know what love is, it is because of you."
the prince, amazed at this girls profound words could only smile wide... he moved closer to her, every breath escaping the two of them.
the kiss was one to behold. they felt that time around them stood still, they felt their hearts beating as one, they heard the violins playing them into a trance... and as they ended the kiss, the prince knelt on one knee, "You're the most amazing person i know, you were the one who changed me, the one who taught me what life is and why we should cherish it, without even you doing anything to teach me. All you did was just becoming my girlfriend and my whole life changed. No one else was ever able to do that aside you. And i dont think i'll be able to find someone else. My sweet princess, will you marry me?"
